Below you will find a brief breakdown of how the design process works... A preliminary site visit will be needed to discuss the project, see your existing garden and introduce ourselves and our work to you. During this visit we will listen to your requirements and wishes, run through some ideas and discus budgets. Following on from this visit we will send you a report covering our initial discussions, what is possible and an estimate of the costs. There is a small charge for this visit if you are outside our working area. Once you decide to go ahead, a further visit will be needed to carry out a site survey to give us an accurate plan of your garden to work to. Following this we produce simple layout drawings for you to see, these will show the main design and layout options as a basis for discussion and agreement. Once a final design is agreed upon, scale drawings will be produced, ready for your garden to be built by an appointed contractor or ourselves. If needed, we will produce a planting plan for a proposed planting scheme, this can be for the whole garden or just a selected area. This scale plan will show the planting position for each plant within the garden. All existing plants being retained within the garden will also be shown. We will of course be happy to source and supply your plants at a competitive rate and should you wish plant your garden for you. Once the plans for your garden are finished, the construction can begin. This can be undertaken by our own team of experienced builders if you live within our working area, or can be undertaken by a builder or contractor appointed by you or recommended by us. We are happy to site manage the job throughout the build to ensure the design and finish is properly interpreted. Once your garden is finished we will supply you with comprehensive notes on how to care for and maintain your new garden, we are also always available to give further advice should you need it.
